Privacy Policy

Songbull ("the App") is developed and operated by Purple Fern LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

We take privacy seriously. Songbull does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Device Identifier
When you first open the App, a random UUID is generated and stored securely in your device's iOS Keychain. This identifier is anonymous — it cannot be linked to your identity — and is used solely to associate your generation history and subscription credits with your device across sessions.

Microphone (Audio Recording)
If you use microphone features within the App, audio is captured and processed entirely on-device. No audio is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Music Generation Inputs
When you create music, the following data is sent to our backend for processing:

• Text prompts describing the music you want to generate
• Music style selections
• Optional lyrics you provide

This data is processed to fulfill your generation request. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build profiles.

Subscription & Credits
When you purchase a subscription through the App, Apple's StoreKit framework handles all payment processing. Songbull receives a signed receipt (JWS token) from StoreKit, which is sent to our backend to verify your purchase and allocate credits. We do not receive or store your payment card details, Apple ID, or billing information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• Name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts or calendar data
• Analytics or behavioral tracking
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

3. Third-Party Services

Songbull uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Our backend infrastructure provider. Music generation inputs and anonymous device data are processed via Supabase. Supabase operates under its own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — Used for in-app purchases and subscription management. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Generation history and credit balances tied to your anonymous device identifier are retained as long as you use the App or until you request deletion. Because we have no way to identify you personally, deletion requests should include your device's anonymous ID (accessible via the App's settings).

5. Children's Privacy

Songbull is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
